My Story

I’ve been a high-achiever my whole life. I got the good grades in school, joined the honor societies, did the extra-curriculars, graduated from the university, got the cushy 9-5 office job, worked with the big brands, did the business trips, got the promotions, earned the raises, received the praises from my family. I did all the things I was supposed to do to be happy; but I wasn’t. Because behind all the achievements was a girl who felt directionless, doubtful, depleted and desperate for a change.

The truth is, I had been feeling unfulfilled for a while. A voice inside of me had been whispering to me for years that I was meant for more; I was meant to make a greater impact. What did that mean? I had no idea at the time. But it all came to a head in 2020.

The job that had been making me unhappy became a lot worse at the early onset of the pandemic. Everyday pressures and stresses increased exponentially, and the environment grew more and more tense as we all scrambled to figure out how to navigate unprecedented circumstances. As a textbook hyper-vigilant, I was quickly triggered by the volatility and started going down a spiral that left me with chronic anxiety and stress. Each day, the small whisper inside of me grew, reinforcing I wasn’t where I was meant to be.

I wish I could say my journey was seamless and tidy, but it wasn’t. I was forced to face things I had been avoiding, heal wounds I had let fester, and take a lot of imperfect action, including a huge leap of faith to leave my job without anything else lined up. (Spoiler alert: Everything worked out :))

While it was the hardest, most frustrating year of my life, it showed me just how resilient I truly am and taught me all I would need to know to help women like me who need a little guidance and the validation that 1. they’re not crazy, 2. they are worthy of a fulfilling, happy life, and 3. they’re good/smart/capable enough.

The truth is, I don’t know if I would’ve made it through that year as strong and resilient as I did without the support of fellow coaches who helped me expand my awareness, recognize my potential and sometimes just listen. I’ve experienced the power of coaching and now I’m here to help you.
